About us

In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

Major (Dr.) Mohd Ali Shah

Army Veteran, Actor, Motivational Speaker

Maj (Dr.) Md Ali Shah (Veteran) is a distinguished defense and strategic expert, awarded the Eastern Army Commander's and Director General Assam Rifles Commendation Cards for his contributions to Northeast India. He led the Assam Rifles contingent at the 2008 Republic Day Parade and is a former detective and 'Mr. Pune Talent 1999.' An IIM graduate as well, he is a visiting faculty at Whistling Woods International and has trained under legends like Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri. As an award-winning actor, he has appeared in acclaimed films such as Haider, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Tashkent Files.
